| These were the first words that the
Lord Jesus pronounced, when He began His Ministry. REPENT, and
believe the gospel! Isaiah, a prophet of God, said the following words: Who has believed our report? Is 53: 1 God had spoken through Isaiah's mouth that the Savior would come, and nobody would believe in Him, when He did. Since He already came, He is convicting the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Jn 16:8 Of SIN, because you don't believe in Him. Of RIGHTEOUSNESS, because He is sitting at the right hand of the Father. Of JUDGMENT, because the ruler of this world, has been judged. |
MY COMMAND I have been commanded by my Lord Jesus: that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Lk 24: 47 Thus, I testify both to the Jews, and also to the Gentiles, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20: 21 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Ro 2: 4

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL It is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. Ro 1: 16 Thanks to that power, Jesus rose from the dead, after having been buried, He now sits at the right hand of the Father! Moreover brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. 1CO 15: 1-4 |
BELIEVE IN JESUS For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." Jn 3: 17-21 |
